Big love.
No cookie-cutter
ceremonies.
All you.
Creative, nonreligious wedding ceremonies with heart, humor, and a little happy chaos. Because your love story deserves more than a fill-in-the-blanks ceremony.
Find your kind of “I do” ↗Inclusive by intention. Personal by design.

A little less expected
Your people.
Your promises.
Your rules.
A big celebration, a tiny gathering, a second chapter, or an “it's finally our turn.” Whatever brought you here, you deserve to feel seen.
My approach is simple: get to know the two of you, find the heart of your story, and create a ceremony that sounds like you. Sweet, funny, unconventional, beautifully understated—or a little of everything.
Some of the best details come from the people who know you best. If you’d like, I can interview family members or friends you choose to gather memories, affectionate observations, and little moments that make your story even more personal. You guide who’s involved and what you’re comfortable sharing.
Moms and future mothers-in-law: your stories are welcome. Your hostile takeover of the ceremony is not. I’ll gently return the microphone to its rightful owners.
Already a family? Let’s celebrate that, too. I welcome creative ways to include your children and pets: a reading, a shared family promise, a special entrance, or a four-legged ring bearer with questionable punctuality. We’ll find roles that feel comfortable and meaningful, with pet participation planned around the venue’s rules and your pet’s needs.
I welcome LGBTQ+ couples and consenting adults aged 18 and over who are legally eligible to marry. No religious affiliation or religious ceremony required. Just room to be yourselves.
There is no one way to say “I do”

Your story. My microphone.
Meet Amy
A little wit.
A whole lot of heart.
I’m Amy: an ordained officiant, a storyteller, and someone who loves love. Nothing would delight me more than bringing two people together with a ceremony that feels like a beautiful beginning.
I lived in Europe for 20 years and have called several places across the United States home. Those experiences shaped my curiosity about people, their stories, and the different ways we celebrate a life together. These days, home is Cranberry Township, with two dogs, a loving partner, and a grown daughter who happens to be a wedding planner. Wedding talk is practically a family language.
With more than 30 years of public speaking, I’m comfortable holding a room—and making room for emotion. People often tell me I’m the funniest person they know. My humor can run from wonderfully silly to deliciously dark, but your ceremony’s tone is always your choice. I know when to land a joke, when to be serious, and when to let a meaningful moment breathe.
I’m ordained through the Universal Life Church, and my ceremony approach is inclusive, nonreligious, and completely personal. I want you to feel seen, your guests to feel connected, and everyone to leave thinking: that was so them.
The wedding that made it click
A little laughter.
A few happy tears.
A very big yes.
Recently, I officiated my niece’s wedding in Mexico. We created the ceremony around exactly what the couple wanted: a little fun, a little emotion for the family, and their own story at the heart of it.
Afterward, many guests told me it was the best wedding ceremony they had ever seen. The couple loved it. I loved it. It was an amazing experience—and it made me want to bring that same care and joy to other couples.
That’s the feeling I’m here to create: a ceremony that celebrates who you are and kicks off your marriage in a beautiful, meaningful way.
In the bride’s words
“Warm, personal,
and full of love.”

Riviera Maya, Mexico
Amy officiated our wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico, and we could not have been happier with her! Her care and thoughtfulness began long before the wedding day. She took the time to gather stories and memories from our closest family and friends, learn about our relationship, and understand why we fell in love. By combining all of that with time spent learning about us as a couple, she crafted the most perfect ceremony!
Our ceremony felt so personal and truly reflected who we are as a couple. It was the perfect length, heartfelt and meaningful without feeling too short or dragging on. She even found ways to involve our guests and included a special nod to my late grandmother, which meant so much to me.
Amy was everything we could have asked for and more! If you are looking for an officiant who will make your ceremony feel warm, personal, and full of love, I would recommend her 100%. She made our day feel so special, and we are beyond grateful to have had her be a part of it!
From your story to your moment
Let's make
it feel like you.
No need to have the whole thing figured out. A few ideas and your own personalities are a great beginning.
01 / Start with a chemistry call
A complimentary 20-minute conversation to see if we’re a good fit. Share your ideas, ask questions, and tell me what you definitely don’t want in a ceremony.
02 / Create the ceremony together
Shape the tone, the vows, and the meaningful moments. Optional interviews with family or friends you choose can add another layer to your story. You guide the boundaries, and review the script before the day.
03 / Be in the moment
A thoughtful ceremony plan lets you focus on each other—and enjoy the good part.
A few good questions.
Can we meet you before deciding?
Yes! I offer a complimentary 20-minute chemistry call so we can talk about your ideas and see if we’re a good fit. There’s no obligation to book. Call or text 724-554-6222 to arrange a time.
Do you celebrate LGBTQ+ weddings?
Absolutely. LGBTQ+ couples are explicitly welcome and celebrated. Your names, pronouns, relationship, and story are respected throughout the ceremony.
Can we skip religious language and traditional roles?
Yes. The approach is nonreligious, with no assumed gender roles or prescribed traditions. Keep what matters to you, leave out what doesn't, and create something personal.
Can we include our children or pets?
Absolutely. Your ceremony can celebrate the family you already share as well as the marriage you’re beginning. We can get creative with children’s readings, family promises, symbolic rituals, or a pet’s special entrance. Children’s involvement is optional and suited to their comfort and age. For pets, we’ll check venue permission and plan for a trusted handler, comfort, and an easy backup if they decide the spotlight isn’t for them.
Can family and friends help tell our story?
Yes. As part of Your Story Ceremony, we can agree on optional interviews with family members or friends you choose. Their memories and perspectives can help bring your story to life. We’ll agree on who to contact, the interview scope, and any off-limits topics beforehand. You review the ceremony script, so the stories included feel right to both of you.
Can it be funny without turning into a roast?
Definitely. Humor should feel affectionate and comfortable for both of you. Sensitive subjects, embarrassing stories, and any off-limits material are discussed in advance.
Where will you offer ceremonies?
The planned service area is Pittsburgh and surrounding communities. Location, travel, availability, and ceremony details will be agreed before a booking.
What about pricing, bookings, and the marriage license?
Your Story Ceremony starts at $595, Short & Sweet at $350, and We Still Do vow renewals at $395. Rehearsal attendance is an additional $150 for up to one hour. Travel within 30 miles of Cranberry Township is included; additional travel or extensive customization is quoted upfront. Booking availability is confirmed directly with Amy. You can call or text Amy at 724-554-6222 to discuss your ceremony. Amy is ordained through the Universal Life Church. Marriage-license requirements and the applicable legal officiant requirements will be reviewed before a legal wedding booking is confirmed. Vow renewals are symbolic ceremonies.
